r.rhenus SLB 220 is a special demulsifying oil for lubrication of slideways and guides.
Application
r.rhenus SLB 220 is suitable for the latest NC and CNC machines and flexible processing
systems where high positioning accuracy is required to achieve top levels of surface finish
and component tolerances.
Examinations of the ¡°Fachhochschule Darmstadt (polytechnic Darmstadt)¡± showed that the
frictional characteristics of the product are close to the optimal possibilities.
No stick-slip appeared at any sliding speed.
r.rhenus SLB 220 is distinguished by its exact and rapid demulsifying effect in
combination with Rhenus coolant emulsions. The ¡°Schmidt-Test¡± -demulsifying behaviour of
slideway oils and coolants - good to very good values are achieved after 1 hour and very
good values after 1 day. The homogeneity, stability and stability of the circulating emulsion
in the machine is not weakened by the fast separation of the slideway oil from the emulsion,
after the standstill of the machine.
